A friend chose this location for her birthday dinner. Nice, varied menu. Everything the 4 of us ordered was very good. My spaghetti d'angelo was a generous portion that was not only aesthetically pleasing, but tasty as well. If you are in the area, give it a try.

This is my top choice in Guilford. Adorable inside, great quality food and top notch service. I love how I can get a decent glass of wine and a nice cappuccino. Some of my favorites are the ricotta appetizer, bistro salmon and bistro salad with blacked chicken. This is our go to place when we've had a hectic day as I always find the interior with string lights and service relaxing.

Food tastes good sometimes a bit too much sauce but tasty nevertheless, service is professional and ambiance is encouraging great conversations.

I had lunch on Wednesday at the Bistro while waiting for my wife who was at the Yale physician's office building. The service was excellent and the lunch special sandwich was delicious. The portion was generous and prepared to my specifications. The room was nicely apportioned though I can see how it would get crowded if fully occupied. We were among the few patrons seated for a late afternoon meal.

We come here often. The attention from the servers is wonderful. And the courses are served quickly and have consistently been delicious. Sometimes it can get busy but never feels hectic.

Guilford Bistro is one of the most consistent restaurants in Guilford when it comes to flavors, staff service and selection. There is a bit of something for everyone. We are a family of 6 with differing palates and 2 of us have gluten allergies. They are helpful, knowledgeable, and willing to try to make any dish they can for us. It can be hard dining out with an allergy. The sauces are amazing, dressings, pastas, salads, apps and entrees. It's one of the only places that appeases all 6 of us. Items worth noting are: Burrata, breads, calamari and scallops for starters. I love their simple arugula salad with shrimp and artichokes or the salmon bruschetta. The salmon con Vongole has the most amazing sauce, too. My husband loves the chicken Cristina or their carbonara dish (which my 9 year old daughter also loves). Finally, my sons love the bistro steak and penne alla vodka - one of the best in town. We truly miss the flat breads. Those were big crowd pleasers and not common in Guilford. We either dine in or take out at least twice a week here. They have issues with their phones a lot, so keep trying. ;-)
